Ingredients

  • 2 12 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 (8 ounce) container blue cheese
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 12 cup quick-cooking oatmeal (NOT instant!)
  • 8 ounces bacon (fried and crumbled)
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 -2 tablespoon tiger sauce, powdered, not liquid (use salt if you cannot have MSG)
  • black pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) container blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 12-1 teaspoon dried dill weed

Method

  • FOR BURGERS:.
  • In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the burgers.
  • Oatmeal is the binding agent so adjust amount according to how you want your burgers.
  • Shape into patties and grill over hot coals.
  • Serve topped with the bleu cheese butter spread and favorite side dish!
  • For added flavor, top the butter spread with a slice or two of bacon.
  • FOR BLEU CHEESE BUTTER SPREAD:.
  • Heat the bleu cheese in the microwave or over a double boiler to get it hot and melty.
  • Put the hot cheese in a blender with the butter and dill and blend WELL!
