Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 qt. blackberries
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
Method
- Combine sugar and 1/2 cup water in saucepan.
- Heat to boiling. Stir in blackberries.
- Reduce heat, simmer and stir about 5 minutes.
- Crush berries.
- Blend together cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water.
- Stir into blackberries.
- Heat and stir until thick and clear. Stir in lemon juice.
- Let cool.
