Ingredients
- FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP:
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- FOR THE MOJITO:
- 8 leaves Fresh Mint, Plus More For Garnish
- 6 Fresh Blackberries, Plus More For Garnish
- 1 Lime, Juiced
- 3 ounces, fluid Bacardi White Rum
- 2 ounces, fluid Simple Syrup
- 1 cup Ice
- 1/2 cups Soda Water
Method
- Prepare simple syrup by combining sugar and water and bringing it to a boil. Stir to let sugar dissolve and remove from heat. Let syrup cool.
- In a sturdy glass, add mint leaves, blackberries, lime juice, rum and simple syrup. With a muddler or a wooden spoon, muddle to extract juices from mint leaves and blackberries.
- Add ice to the glass and top with soda water. Garnish with more fresh blackberries, mint leaves or lime wedges.
