Ingredients

  • FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP:
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • FOR THE MOJITO:
  • 8 leaves Fresh Mint, Plus More For Garnish
  • 6 Fresh Blackberries, Plus More For Garnish
  • 1 Lime, Juiced
  • 3 ounces, fluid Bacardi White Rum
  • 2 ounces, fluid Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup Ice
  • 1/2 cups Soda Water

Method

  • Prepare simple syrup by combining sugar and water and bringing it to a boil. Stir to let sugar dissolve and remove from heat. Let syrup cool.
  • In a sturdy glass, add mint leaves, blackberries, lime juice, rum and simple syrup. With a muddler or a wooden spoon, muddle to extract juices from mint leaves and blackberries.
  • Add ice to the glass and top with soda water. Garnish with more fresh blackberries, mint leaves or lime wedges.
