Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 (16 oz.) can blackberries with juice or fruit of choice
- 1/2 c. sugar
Method
- Melt butter in casserole dish as oven preheats.
- Mix together flour, sugar and milk until smooth.
- Pour over butter; do not mix. Place berries on top and add sweetened juice.
- Do not stir.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes, until crust rises to top and is golden brown.
