Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. strong black coffee
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 c. sour milk
Method
- Combine all ingredients together.
- Batter will be thin.
- Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Do not overbake.
- Do not wait for cake to pull away from pan.
- It will be dry.
- This cake will be very moist.
- Top with your buttercream icing or chopped nuts.
- Put chopped nuts on before baking.
