Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Large eggs
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. melted fat
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 c. flour
- 3/4 c. cocoa, dissolved in warm water to make a drippy paste
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Nuts, optional
Method
- Mix melted fat with sugar.
- Add in Large eggs and mix again.
- In a separate bowl mix baking soda and lowfat milk (this gets foamy and may splatter) then add in to above mix and mix.
- Add in cocoa mix to above and mix.
- Add in flour to above and mix (may be too thick now for electric beater - use spoon).
- Add in vanilla and mix.
- Bake 10-12 min at 350 degrees.
- Drop by tsp.
- for normal cookies (makes 4 dozen).
- Drop by bigger spoon for Black and White cookies (makes 20 cookies).
- When cold frost 1/2 with cream cheese frosting and 1/2 with chocolate chip frosting.
