Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. dried hot pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tail left on)
- juice of 1 lemon
- dry white wine (for flavor, optional)
Method
- In heavy skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
- Add peppers and shrimp.
- Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add garlic; cook about 1 minute.
- Add lemon juice.
- Serve immediately.
- Serves 6 people as appetizer with crusty bread.
- Serves 2 people as main course.
