Ingredients

  • For the poppyseed dressing
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground mustard
  • 1/3 cup Vinegar
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Poppyseeds
  • For the salad
  • 3 ounces Watercress
  • 3 ounces Arugula
  • 1 cup Chopped radicchio
  • 2 cups Strawberries, chilled, sliced thinly

Method

  • In a bowl, add the sugar, onion salt, and mustard. Pour in the vinegar and whisk. Slowly pour in the oil while whisking and beat until the mixture becomes thick. Stir in the poppy seeds.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of dressing into the bottom of a large bowl. Add the lettuces and strawberries and toss gently. Serve immediately.
