Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. butter, melted
  • Sherbet
  • 3 c. mixed fresh fruit or possibly 2 Packages quick-thaw mixed fruit, thawed

Method

  • Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Mix baking mix, lowfat milk, sugar, and butter till soft dough forms.
  • Spread in ungreased square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches.
  • Bake till golden, 15 to 20 min.
  • Cold.
  • Cut into 6 equal pcs.
  • Split shortcakes; spoon sherbet between each.
  • Top with fruit.
  • Garnish with whipped cream if you like.
  • 6 servings.
