Ingredients
- 2 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. buttermilk (maybe a little more)
Method
- Mix ingredients together well.
- Roll out on floured surface and cut with biscuit cutter.
- Bake at 425° until brown.
- Mop top of biscuits with butter as soon as removed from oven.
- Yields 12 biscuits.
