Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • salt to taste
  • 2 (7 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
  • Blend in flour; cook over low heat until bubbly.
  • Gradually add milk.
  • Cook until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.
  • Stir in salt, pepper and tuna.
  • Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole.
