Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. cake flour
Method
- Mix ingredients; chill thoroughly.
- Roll in small balls.
- Dip first in slightly beaten egg white, then in finely chopped nuts. Place dipped side up on baking sheet.
- Press down in the center of each ball with a spoon to make a hollow place or make a thumbprint.
- Bake for 8 minutes at 350°.
