Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 2 1/2 c. fruit, sweetened, or 1 can pie filling
Method
- Melt butter in deep glass baking dish.
- Mix all other ingredients in a bowl, except fruit; mix well.
- Pour into center of melted butter.
- Do not stir.
- Pour fruit into center of batter.
- Do not stir.
- Bake at 350° until golden brown (about 1 hour).
