Ingredients
- 4 32 oz Cans Whole Tomatoes
- 1 12 oz Pkg Frozen Chopped Onions
- 4 Cloves Garlic - chopped fine
- 4 Bell Peppers
- 2+ lbs Ground Beef
- 1 6.5 - 8 oz Can Mushrooms
- 3 Bay Leaves
- Kosher Salt
Method
- Mash (or blend) tomatoes and add to cooking pot.
- Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer.
- Brown the ground beef and drain
- Saute the bell peppers in oil or margarine.
- Drain mushrooms.
- Add bay leaves, chopped garlic, ground beef, mushrooms, and onions to tomato sauce.
- Simmer for 2 - 3 hours.
