Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • Mix sugar, sour cream, margarine and eggs in large bowl.
  • Beat in bananas and vanilla.
  • Beat in flour, salt and baking soda.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Spread in greased and floured jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch).
  • Bake until light brown, 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Cool and frost.
