Ingredients

  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Method

  • Cream together sugars, margarine and oil. Add beaten eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Roll mixture into small balls. Press these with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
  • Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on rack and store in tight tin in the freezer if not used right away.
  • Makes a lot of light, crispy cookies.
