Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 3 T. flour
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 2 T. butter
- 2 c. water
Method
- Separate eggs. Mix sugar, flour, and cornstarch together, add water gradually.
- Cook stirring constantly, until it begins to thicken.
- Slowly add 1 c. of beaten egg yolks put back in saucepan.
- Cook 2-3 minutes longer.
- Pour into cool baked pie crust.
