Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour (do not sift)
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
Method
- Hand mix all ingredients (no shortening in this cake).
- Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. For a glass pan, bake at 325°.
- Frost immediately after removing from oven.
