Ingredients
- 1 pound fish fillets
- 3 or possibly 4 teaspoon Bisquick
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. beer
- Vegetable oil
Method
- Heat vegetable oil about 1 1/2" deep in heavy skillet or possibly deep fryer (350 degrees).
- Lightly coat fish with 3 or possibly 4 Tbsp.
- Bisquick.
- Mix 1 c. Bisquick, salt, egg and beat till smooth.
- Dip fish into batter letting excess drip in bowl.
- Fry till golden, about 2 min on each side.
- Drain on a paper towel a few min to absorb grease.
