Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. chopped chives or onion
- 18 large fresh mushrooms
- 2 tsp. horseradish
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2/3 c. dry white wine
Method
- Mix beef, horseradish, chives or onion, garlic salt and pepper together in a bowl.
- Remove stems from mushrooms (sometimes I finely chop the stems and add to meat mixture).
- Stuff mushrooms with beef mixture.
- Place in a shallow baking dish; pour wine over mushrooms.
- Bake in a 350° oven for 20 to 30 minutes, until beef is done.
- Makes 18 appetizers.
