Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. stew meat (boneless)
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cans Campbell's onion soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 Tbsp. Spry
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper
  • 1/2 c. bacon grease
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 2 small onions, diced
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 dashes Tabasco sauce

Method

  • Mix flour, salt and pepper and rub into steak.
  • Cut into desired pieces and brown in bacon grease.
  • Heat to boiling the remaining ingredients and in a greased baking dish pour this sauce over steak.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Serves 4.
