Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 c. original Minute rice
  • 3/4 lb. flank steak strips
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 6 c. bite-size vegetables
  • 1 c. beef broth
  • 4 tsp. cornstarch

Method

  • Mix soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar and seasoning.
  • Add beef, let stand 20 minutes to marinate.
  • Stir-fry beef in hot oil in skillet until browned.
  • Add vegetables; stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  • Mix broth and cornstarch, add to skillet.
  • Bring to boil and boil 1 minute.
