- 1 1/2 lb. beef sirloin steak
- freshly ground pepper
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. margarine
- 1 lb. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. finely chopped green onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 c. white wine
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 c. nonfat sour cream
- chopped parsley (for garnish)
- cooked pasta
Method
- Trim off any fat on steak. Cut the meat into thin strips about 2-inches long and 1/4-inch wide.
- Season with pepper and toss meat with 1 tablespoon of the flour.
- Melt 1 teaspoon of the margarine in a nonstick skillet over moderate heat. Add the meat strips and saute, turning them to brown on all sides. Remove to a plate and keep warm.
