Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak, cubed
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 small jar mushrooms
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 c. diced green peppers

Method

  • Mix steak, flour, salt and pepper.
  • Brown in hot shortening. Add onion, mushrooms, garlic, sour cream, soup, sauces and green pepper to meat.
  • Stir.
  • Cover and cook on high until it steams. Simmer 20 to 40 minutes.
  • Serve over cooked rice.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan over top.
