- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 lb. round steak, cubed
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 (4 to 6 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 can water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 6 drops Tabasco sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
- 1 c. sour cream
Method
- Dip meat in flour.
- In heavy skillet, brown meat in hot fat. Add onion, garlic and mushrooms (include liquid).
- Combine all other ingredients except sour cream and pour over meat mixture. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
- Stir occasionally.
- Add a little water if too much liquid evaporates.
- Stir in sour cream. Heat but do not boil.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
