- 1 12 lbs stewing beef
- 1 large potato, cubed
- 1 onion, diced (more or less to taste)
- 1 -2 large carrot, grated
- 2 -3 celery ribs, sliced
- 1 (14 ounce) can black beans
- 1 (14 ounce) can pinto beans
- 1 lb sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 3 -10 minced garlic cloves (we like alot)
- 12 cup red wine (optional)
- 6 beef bouillon cubes (I like Herb Ox, no MSG, to taste)
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 tablespoons pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
Method
- put everything in the crockpot.
- cook on low for 8 hours, or.
- cook on high for 4 hours, or.
- cook on stove top.
