Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 1 qt beef broth
  • 6 T chili powder
  • 1/4 t garlic salt
  • 2 T cumin
  • 2 T cornstarch in 4 T water - bring first 4 ingredients to a boil add cornstarch boil 1 min to thicken
  • Filling -
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 T oil
  • 1 pd ground chuck
  • 1 can 4 1/2 oz black olives
  • 1/2 c sauce
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (1 cup in filling 1 cup on top)
  • 1 packet tortillas

Method

  • Saute onion and garlic in oil until golden, add meat and brown. Add remaining ingredients half the black olives, the 1/2 cup sauce, and one cup cheese. Heat.
  • Fry tortillas quickly in hot oil, drain keep warm. Dip tortilla in sauce quickly to cover then fill with meat mixture, roll tightly, sprinkle with cheese, and remaining olives and pour remaining sauce on top
  • Heat in oven 350 degrees for 10 minutes
