Ingredients
- 2 lb. beef round cubes, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 c. Burgundy wine
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
- 8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms (more can be added, if preferred)
- 1/4 c. dry seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 bay leaf
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a shallow covered casserole.
- Bake, covered, at 350° for 3 hours.
- Remove bay leaf.
- Serve over a bed of egg noodles or rice.
