Ingredients
- 6 to 8 chopped green onions with tops
- 5 shredded carrots
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds, toasted
- 1 Tbsp. oil
Method
- Toast almonds in oil in heavy skillet and set aside.
- Saute ground beef with chopped onions.
- When browned slightly, add grated carrots, cooked rice and soy sauce.
- Cook just until carrots are tender, approximately 10 minutes.
- Serve with toasted almonds.
- Simple but good.
