Ingredients
- 4 c. raw potatoes
- 1/4 c. sliced onion
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. soda crackers or rolled oats
- 1/4 c. ketchup or chili sauce
Method
- Arrange sliced potatoes and 1 teaspoon onion in greased 2-quart baking dish.
- Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper and parsley.
- Combine ground beef, milk, crackers, ketchup, remaining onion and seasonings.
- Spread over sliced potatoes. Decorate with additional ketchup, if desired.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
- Makes 6 servings.
