Ingredients
- 1 c. lima beans
- 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
- small can tomato puree
- 1 small onion, diced and fried in butter until browned
Method
- Soak beans overnight.
- Simmer over low fire until they are cooked.
- Add macaroni, tomato puree and browned onions.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serves 4.
