Ingredients
- 1 can sliced or chopped beets (reserve juice after draining)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. beet juice
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Mix well together sugar, beet juice, flour and vinegar; put in saucepan.
- Bring to boil; boil about 5 to 10 minutes, then add beets, salt and butter.
- Bring back to boil about 3 to 5 minutes.
