Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup wheat gluten (protein powder from flour)
  • 1 cupkidney beans, cooked
  • 1 tablespoon flax seed, ground
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

  • Soak flax seeds in water.
  • Mix in and mash: beans, nutritional yeast, garlic, then add gluten and soy sauce.
  • Let sit for ~15 minutes, then stir up again.
  • Fry formed burgers in heated frying pan at medium heat. ~5 minutes per side.
