Ingredients
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 egg
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 3 1/2 c. flour, divided
Method
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl (use mixer).
- Beat in egg.
- Mix yeast and 2 cups flour separately.
- Add separate mix to liquid and beat with mixer until smooth.
- Stir in 1 1/2 cups flour (or enough for a very soft dough).
- Cover bowl with towel and let rise for about 30 minutes or until doubled.
- Punch down and place in well-greased muffin pan.
- Let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
- Bake at 400° for about 15 minutes.
