Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 2 ounces cachaca (potent Brazilian sugarcane spirit)
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce grenadine, preferably homemade
  • 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 3 ounces chilled club soda
  • 1 pineapple spear

Method

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add the cachaca, pineapple juice, lemon juice, grenadine and Simple Syrup.
  • Shake well and strain into a large ice-filled red wine glass.
  • Stir in the club soda and garnish with the pineapple spear.
