Ingredients
- 6 medium to large sweet potatoes or yams
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Method
- Wash and scrub potatoes.
- Cut slits in tops.
- Place each potato in a piece of aluminum foil, wrapping securely.
- Cook 6-inches from heat, tops down, for 20 minutes.
- Turn and pierce foil tops with a fork.
- Cook for 20 to 25 minutes or longer, until done.
- Cut foil open.
- Combine cloves and butter.
- Frizzle over tops.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serves 6.
