Ingredients
- 12 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 9 in round baking pan with cooking oil and lightly flour.
- Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and beat well.
- Reduce the speed to low and add 1 cup flour, baking powder and salt; beating until smooth.
- Pour batter into the baking pan.
- Stir together the blueberries, 1 tsp flour and lemon juice.
- Spoon berry mixture over batter and bake 50 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove and cool for 10 minute Dust cake with powdered sugar and serve.
