Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces (remove skin)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of Tabasco (more if you like it hot!)
  • 3 cups catsup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard

Method

  • Bake chicken 45 minutes at 350° or until tender. Saute onion in butter until tender; add remaining ingredients altogether and simmer 1/2 hour.
  • Drain grease from chicken and add barbecue sauce.
  • Bake another 30 minutes, covered.
