Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut
- 1 medium onion
- 1 (4 oz.) can tomato paste
- oregano
- thyme
- salt and pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, stewed
- 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- honey
- basil
- lemon pepper
Method
- Boil chicken with onion on stove for 20 minutes.
- Lightly season with salt and lemon pepper.
- In a separate pot add can of stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste.
- Stir.
- Add honey, oregano, basil, thyme, pinch of black pepper and salt.
- Season to taste.
- Let simmer for 15 minutes, then put chicken in a lasagne pan and cover with sauce.
- Cook in oven (350°) for 15 minutes or until chicken is tender.
- Serve with cabbage and brown rice.
