Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped fine
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 large cans pork and beans
  • 1 bottle chili sauce
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard

Method

  • Partially cook bacon; add onion.
  • Cook until onion reaches clear stage.
  • Remove bacon and onion and place in crock-pot or such.
  • Cook beef in remaining bacon fat.
  • Add beef and remaining ingredients to crock-pot and stir together.
  • Cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
