Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 bananas, beaten to a pulp
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Beat together vegetable oil and sugar.
  • Add eggs and bananas. Beat well.
  • Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  • Add to first mixture and add milk and vanilla.
  • Beat well and add chopped nuts.
  • Pour in a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan (greased and floured).
  • Bake 1 hour or more at 350° until toothpick comes out clean from the center.
