Ingredients
- 1/3 c. Rice, raw
- 4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, grated
- 1/2 c. Raisins Butter, softened
Method
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees, lightly butter cassarole.
- Combine rice, lowfat milk, salt, vanilla and nutmeg in casserole and mix well.
- Bake, uncovered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Then stir in raisins and bake another 2 hrs, stirring occassionally.
