Ingredients

  • 6 ripe pears, peeled and halved
  • 1 cup white grape-pear concentrate or apple juice concentrate
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsly chopped
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Method

  • Make a thin paste of the cornstarch with a Tablspoon of water, then add to the white grape-pear concentrate. Arrange pears in a flat baking dish. Pour the concentrate mixture over the tops of the pears and cranberries. Sprinkle with finely chopped nuts and coriander.
  • Bake at 325 for 35-40 minutes until hot and bubbly. May serve warm or cool.
