Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. plain flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 c. pineapple juice (1- 6 oz. can juice plus enough water to make a cup works)
  • 1 Tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 2 - 29 oz. cans of pears, halved or sliced, drained
  • Cinnamon

Method

  • Blend sugar, flour, and salt. Combine with margarine in a small pan. Add pineapple juice and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour the mixture over pears in an oblong baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
