Ingredients
- 3-4 lbs. potatoes
- 1 stick margarine
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can Hormel real bacon bits
Method
- Cook potatoes, drain, and whip with margarine, salt, sour cream, and cream cheese (a small amount of milk may be added if desired).
- Pour mashed potatoes in casserole dish.
- Top with cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
- Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and potatoes begin to bubble around the edges.
