Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs. potatoes
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can Hormel real bacon bits

Method

  • Cook potatoes, drain, and whip with margarine, salt, sour cream, and cream cheese (a small amount of milk may be added if desired).
  • Pour mashed potatoes in casserole dish.
  • Top with cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and potatoes begin to bubble around the edges.
