Ingredients
- 10 to 12 oz. macaroni, cooked and drained
- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed in 1/2-inch squares
- 1 lb. Colby cheese, cubed in 1/2-inch squares
- flour
- salt and pepper
- milk
Method
- Cook and drain macaroni.
- Cut cheeses into squares.
- Lightly grease or Pam a 13 x 9-inch casserole.
- Divide macaroni into 2 parts.
- Layer half the macaroni in casserole.
- Sprinkle half of both cheeses over macaroni layer.
- Dust with flour (approximately 1/4 to 1/2 cup).
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Layer remaining macaroni on top of first layer.
- Add remaining cheeses.
- Dust with flour again and salt and pepper.
- Cover with milk.
- Bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until brown and crusty on top.
