Ingredients

  • 12 slice(s) Dry French Bread
  • 5 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 cup(s) Milk
  • 1 cup(s) Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 cup(s) Chopped Pralines
  • 1 cup(s) Melted Butter or Margarine
  • 2 cup(s) Blueberries (Fresh or Frozen)

Method

  • 1.Place bread in bottom of 13x9 in baking dish. In bowl, combine eggs, milk, 3/4 cup of the brown sugar, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour over bread. Refrigerate over night, covered.
  • 2.Remove 30 minutes before ready to bake. Sprinkle pecans over dish. Combine butter and remaining sugar and drizzle over top.
  • 3.Bake uncovered at 400 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with blueberries and bake an additional 10 minutes.
