Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fish fillets (frozen or fresh)
  • 1/4 c. skim milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
  • 4 tsp. butter

Method

  • Cut fillets into 4 portions and soak 3 minutes in milk to which salt has been added.
  • Drain and roll in bread crumbs, place fish in greased baking dish and dot with butter.
  • Bake at 450° allowing 8 minutes if fish is fresh and 15 minutes if fish is frozen.
  • Yield:
  • 4 servings.
  • Carbohydrate 5 g, protein 22 g, fat 13 g, calories 225.
  • One serving = 3 meat low-fat exchange.
