Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. rice
  • 6 to 8 pieces chicken
  • salt
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope instant onion soup
  • 2 c. chicken broth

Method

  • Butter a large casserole.
  • Spread rice in the bottom. Sprinkle chicken with salt and arrange over rice.
  • Combine cream of celery and cream of mushroom soups.
  • Dribble over chicken. Sprinkle instant onion soup over all.
  • Pour broth around, not over, the mixture.
  • Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is done.
