Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. dry ginger
- 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans, drain excess liquid
- 1/2 c. green chopped green bell pepper
Method
- Mix all ingredients in a roasting pan.
- Fry bacon crisp and when cool, crumble into bean mixture.
- Also, pour bacon grease into mixture if you have no fat problem.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes uncovered.
